“The Power of A Seed” is a powerful series, consisting of six messages, in which Dr. Melvin G. Barney, Esq., Senior Pastor of the Faith Fellowship Community Church, expounds on the revelation from Genesis 1:11, that God put within every seed, the power to make itself come to pass.

The introductory sermon is called, “Your Victory Is In Your Seed!” Here, Dr. Barney makes the point that in order for the blessing of Genesis 1 to come to pass, which is to “be fruitful and multiply,” you’ve got to know what to do with your seed. The second message, “The Enemy Is After Your Seed!” highlights the fact that because God put the power in the seed to make itself come to pass, the enemy is coming after your seed. Message three, “The Laws of The Harvest,” examines the elements of the laws of sowing and reaping. Message four is called, “Can You Handle The Truth?” Here Dr. Barney addresses Jesus’s statement, “If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” The fifth message, “With What Measure You Mete!” examines the exercise of Jesus, which shifts the responsibility for our receipt of the promises of God from Him to us, and advises us in Mark 4, that our destiny depends on what we do with our seed. In the final message, entitled “If You Plant It, It Will Grow!” Dr. Barney draw upon the lessons from Galatians 6:7-9.
